Day 1

Pick up from hotel and morning flight from Istanbul to Kayseri. Transfer from the airport to Cappadocia. Your first visit in the area will be Goreme Open Air Museum: The most famous museum in the area which houses many cave-churches with painted frescoes, carved out by early Christian monks between 600 and 1200 AD. Then head to Uchisar Castle the highest point of rocky region, you can see the amazing landscape and the towns of Cappadocia in the distance, such as Goreme and Avanos. After the lunch at a local restaurant drive to Avanos: Lies on the banks of the Red River, famous for the pottery and painted tiles in Turkey. You can see pottery being made, including the old techniques, and even try your hand on the potter’s wheel. Continue to Pasabagi: The best place to see three-headed fairy chimneys. Pasabag, is surrounded by incredible natural rock formations; a spectacular scene and Devrent Valley or Imagination Valley has a lunar landscape and animal shaped pink rocks. Overnight in Cappadocia in a cave hotel.

Day 2

After the breakfast, pick up from hoteldrive to Pigeon Valley, near the village of Uchisar, and named after the thousands of pigeon houses carved into the rocks. The rock formations, combined with awe inspiring views are not to be missed. Underground City: A comlex of joint caves built by the Christians to hide from possible attacts. This city has over one hundred tunnels under the ground. Each space is organized around ventilation shafts. The tunnels and underground rooms were used today as storage areas, stables, wine cellars, living areas and cave churches. Ihlara Valley, enjoy an easy walk through the valley along the Melendiz stream, look up and see many of Roman churches, chapels, monasteries and hermits’ caves. The 16 km long valley, through volcanic rock was a result of several eruptions of Mount Hasan. Lunch in the old village in Belisirma. Selime Castle is located at the northern opening of the Ihlara Valley. It has a great view looking down the valley. The complexes were carved into volcanic rock outcroppings during the Byzantine period. Overnight in Cappadocia in a cave hotel.

Day 3

Early wake up and drive to Konya after the breakfast…On the way there visit Derinkuyu underground city and Ihlara valley….Have lunch on the way and arrive in Konya homeland of Mevlana and whirling dervishes…Visit Mevlana Museum and drive to Pamukkale and stay there overnight.

Day 4

After the breakfast, pick up from hotel and drive to Pamukkale, visit the beautiful terraced cliff side basins and waterfalls. Lunch. Hierapolis ancient city visit, see the magnificently preserved a vast Necropolis of the ancient hellenistic world, Roman basilical baths, Domitian gate, latrines, Agora, Colonnaded street and Byzantine gate and Roman fountains and Grand Theatre, and also other monuments at the site. After th elunch in a local restaurant drive to Selçuk and stay there overnight.

Day 5

After the breakfast, visit the House of the Virgin Mary as the final resting place of the Virgin Mary. In the Ephesus Ancient City; Baths of Varius, Odeon, Prytaneion, Fountain of Polio, The Gate of Heracles, State Agora, Public toilets, Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Domitian, Library of Celsus, Great Theater and harbor street with the necropolis will be seen. After the lunch continue to St. John’s Basilica, A part of the site, was built in the 6th century AD, under emperor Justinian I over the supposed site of the apostle’s tomb. The Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of ancient world was a famous place of pilgrimage for centuries. Then transfer to the airport to fly back to Ýstanbul.
